Xavier Savage’s future is currently up in the air, with multiple clubs interested in the winger.

The Raiders talent is off-contract at the end of next season, and while the club do want to keep him, no formal offer has been made as of yet.

With this, the winger has hit the open market and is eligible to explore his options for 2028 onwards.

One interested club is North Queensland Cowboys, who will also face competition from an unnamed Sydney-based side.

Other clubs are also keeping tabs on Savage and will pay close attention to his situation at Canberra.

The winger is among the best outside backs currently available on the market, and that could make a club push to complete a move.

Savage’s versatility may be an attraction for interested parties, with him being able to feature as a fullback.

The Raiders winger had a strong end to the 2026 campaign and featured in 19 games in total for the club from the Capital.

With Canberra delaying a deal for the 24-year-old though, he may be forced to look elsewhere for a contract and depart after the 2027 season.
