Minor Premiers Penrith Panthers have confirmed six players will leave the club following the 2026 campaign.

Ivan Cleary’s side fell short in the Preliminary Final against Newcastle Knights, and missed out on the Grand Final.

The defeat saw the favourites to win the competition exit, in what was a dismal day for the side.

Nathan Cleary suffered an ankle fracture and dislocation in the game and will be sidelined for a lengthy period of time.

The tough period for the Panthers also sees the club confirm that six players will leave.

Jack Cole, Liam Henry and Scott Sorensen will all depart Penrith and join Perth Bears, ahead of their inaugural NRL season next year.

Premiership winners Cole and Henry will bring winning pedigrees to the league’s newcomers, who are expected to struggle in 2027.

Two players will join the Bulldogs ahead of next season, after leaving Penrith.

The duo is Freddy Lussick and Jesse McLean, who will be in search of more frequent first-grade minutes.

The sixth player to leave the side is prop Toby Crosby, who joins English Super League side Warrington Wolves.

Tom Ale and Kalani Leuluai-Going are both off-contract and are yet to be offered new deals with the club. They could join the list of the six departures so far.
