Broncos fans will love pundit words on Billy Walters

Brisbane Broncos fans had something to cheer tonight thanks to a 34-20 victory over the Bulldogs.

The Broncos won only their eighth game of a terrible season, hot on the heels of landing the NRL Premiership last year.

But Brisbane finished 2026 on a high with a good win at the Bulldogs.

Billy Walters was again a key player for the Broncos, with the fan favourite scoring once and providing plenty of key moments during the game.

After crossing for his try in the second half, expert commentator Greg Alexander had some great words on Walters that fans will love.

“Great speed from Billy and a lovely pass to start it all off for his try. He has had an incredible game,” Alexander said during the commentary.

“Billy Walters, the sort of form he’s in and the form he’s displaying, he looks quicker than he did previously.

“Coming off an ACL, that is remarkable. He’s only played four games.”
