Jonah Pezet makes Broncos prediction about himself

Jonah Pezet has predicted how successful he can be at the Brisbane Broncos.

Pezet signed late last year for the 2027 season and beyond, but struggled at Parramatta Eels after a pit-stop injury.

He was asked whether he can be the successor to Adam Reynolds, who has retired. Pezet gave a strong answer.

“Definitely, mate. I think anyone that’s out there in the NRL believes they can make it,” Pezet told the Courier Mail.

“Pressure is a privilege. Madge and Dave (Donaghy, Broncos CEO) are putting a lot of faith in me, and hopefully I can repay the club with my best performances.

“I know well and truly that nothing is a given in the NRL. I’m going to compete from that first or second week in November when we go back to training.

“No one’s spot is going to be guaranteed. Having those blokes around me (Duffy, Mam and Hunt) is going to be unreal for my development, and we’re all going to compete hard for the jersey.”
