Warriors dealt huge injury blow as 4 players sidelined

New Zealand Warriors have named their team for Saturday’s crucial NRL clash against Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium.

It’s a big game for the Warriors after they were beaten 18-6 by the Canterbury Bulldogs at Accor Stadium in Sydney last weekend.

The result saw the Warriors slip out of the NRL’s top two and with the chasing pack hot on the heels of Andrew Wesbter’s side, the Wahs need a win to cement their top four place.

On Tuesday, the Wahs revealed their team news for the game, and there is on big chance, with the injured Taine Tuaupiki replaced by Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad.

Tuaupiki picked up a foot injury in the first half against the Bulldogs and the club have confirmed that the fullback will be absent for 1-2 weeks.

Nicoll-Klokstad will take the fullback spot for the first time since the reverse fixture against the Titans in Auckland back in April.

Webster names an unchanged team barring the swap in the No.1 role, with the Titans presenting dangerous opposition after an upturn in form.

Josh Hannay’s side have picked up over the last two months, claiming wins over Brisbane, Penrith and Manly. They come into this game off the back of a dominant 38-18 win over the Dragons.
