Phil Gould makes huge Warriors vs Dolphins prediction

New Zealand Warriors host the Dolphins on Saturday in the NRL finals.

The Wahs have secured home ties in the Finals, which will be huge for their Premiership push.

The Dolphins will come to town as they face the Warriors in Auckland.

Andrew Webster’s side narrowly missed out on becoming Minor Premiers, and they will use that as motivation to win the comp.

Ahead of Saturday’s highly anticipated clash, Gus Gould spoke on the 100% Footy show about the encounter.

“I think the Warriors’ football is perfectly geared towards Finals football,” Gould explained.

“I think they’ve been known for some time they’re going to be in this game and they’re going to be at home, and it’s only human nature to go into those last few rounds in self-preservation.

“They haven’t put their best foot forward, but I can guarantee you they can turn it on in any moment when they get to the game this week. I think they’ll go through to the preliminary final and beat the Dolphins.”

The Warriors go into the NRL finals hoping to be crowned Premiers for the first time in their history.

The side is in great form, having won their last six games.

But the last meeting between the Wahs and the Dolphins saw the latter win.
