Manly Sea Eagles confirm 12 player exits

Manly Sea Eagles have confirmed their player departures following their 2026 campaign.

12 players will say goodbye to Manly after their weekend defeat against New Zealand Warriors.

Siosiua Taukeiaho, Aaron Schoupp, Paul Bryan, Zach Dockar-Clay, Blake Wilson, Fletcher Baker, Brandon Wakeham, Zaidas Muagututia, Viliami Fifita and Tex Hoy are all exiting the club.

Two standout departures include Nathan Brown and Reuben Garrick.

The latter will leave Manly for Sydney Roosters after playing the last eight seasons with the Sea Eagles.

The 29-year-old became a key player for the club during his time there, but Manly are now hoping someone can step up and fill his shoes.

This year, the winger made 23 appearances, being a key figure in the side week in week out.

Nathan Brown leaves the club after two years, having played his 200th NRL appearance in Round 26.

The lock is without a club for 2027, but he will not join a fellow NRL club, with hopes of moving to the Super League.

Speaking to AAP, he said: “You don’t want to be finishing by just clutching at he straws and hanging on by a thread.

“I feel like I can probably still physically play another year in the NRL. But in the mental side of things, I’m just ready (to leave).”

Brown made his NRL debut 13 years ago for Wests Tigers against the Dragons, but his time in the league seems to be coming to an end.
